Teaching since 2003, I am a highly experienced certified yoga teacher. My style blends down-to-Earth practicality and playful light-heartedness. Foundational to my teaching is a deep conviction of yoga as a living practice.
My career is diverse and includes classes in studios, the great outdoors, offices, senior living communities and private instruction. I enjoy working with students of all ages and abilities.
Committed to ongoing studentship, I received thousands of hours of education in the art and science of teaching yoga, therapeutic applications, philosophy, Yoga Nidra and Ayurveda.
My yoga is enriched by the fullness of my eclectic background: a degree in Geography from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, park ranger for the National Park Service (National Mall, Washington D.C. and Grand Canyon), outdoor education counselor, a ten-year executive career in Girl Scouting (Utah and Arizona) and river guide.
